Super simple and fast PHP 5.5 installation on OSX

I’m starting to get more interested into web technologies and I feel the need of updating some of my tools such as PHP. I was kind of surpirsed how easy it is thanks to this. The instructions are described there but I’m going to put them here too :P

1. Check you version

php -v

If < 5.5 go to step 2 else you already have PHP 5.5!!

2. Install PHP5.5

curl -s http://php-osx.liip.ch/install.sh | bash -s 5.5

3. Add it to the PATH

export PATH=/usr/local/php5/bin:$PATH

What does it do?
